TO LOOK FOR TITLES
Using TITLE WORDS:
Select Search type Keyword and Search Index

To get documents received AFTER 1979, note TITLE, ITEM number

SUDOC number then ask at the reference desk in SSRC (Firestone, A
floor) to get the item.
For biological subject matter, the items might be in SSRC,
or it might be at SZ (or SPR, etc.)

agency.
They will be in Firestone or the Annex, specified by call number

Combined Searches Use the Combined search button
Fill in the information lines that you know
This search automatically does a Boolean AND
operation.
There is no direct way to do an Boolean OR
operation; instead, to search for several related words use
truncation,
e.g. chromatog*; to search for a word in any of sevveral fields,
enter it in the Anyword field.

You can limit by date, language, or format
To limit by date, enter the year or year range wanted in the date
field, e.g.
1995 1990-1995 AFTER 1995 BEFORE 1900
To limit by language, enter the three-letter code for the language in
the language field. Find the code by using the browse
language
button.
To limit by format, enter the code for the format in
the format field. Find the code by using the browse
format
