Princeton University Library has now subscribed to a large portion of Elsevier
journals in electronic format, known as ScienceDirect.
- Of special note to Biologists are the packages: Biochemistry, Immunology
and Neuroscience.
- Academic Press online journals are now available through ScienceDirect.

PU Links or SFX
is enables one to link directly to full text, if PUL has
it - or to have it automatically search Princeton's online catalog, or
connect to the Interlibrary Loan/ Document Delivery Request Form. These
links will appear when you are searching our online databases.
- Borrow Direct
is a rapid book borrowing and delivery service offered by Princeton University
Library and six partner libraries:Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth,
Penn, and Yale.

Circulation Rules
The library is open to the public for research use, but only
those with a Princeton University borrowing card may borrow.
- The loan period for all borrowers is 1 term. Books may be
renewed.
- All items will be recalled when needed for another user.
- Periodicals generally do not circulate.
(Some periodicals
are marked to circulate for 1 week.)
- Non-circulating items must be photocopied in the library,
and may not be borrowed for photocopying except under special
circumstances.
- Reserve books circulate for three-hours.
